Alyson
Robinett started playing piano at age 6 and loved it from the
beginning. She studied with Cami Titus until age 13 when she
started studying with Dr. Yu-Jane Yang. Alyson has won many
awards including 3rd Place in the UMTA Concerto Competition, 2nd
Place at WSU's Annual Piano Festival, and has been invited to
play in numerous Honors Recitals around the state. During her
freshman year, Alyson won WSU's Concerto Night Competition and
had the opportunity to play with the WSU Symphony Orchestra.
She has accompanied many instrumentalists and vocalists at
various competitions and events as well as ballet classes at
Peery's Egyptian Theater. Alyson has been awarded the Ruth
Stevenson Music Scholarship three consecutive years from WSU and
has been an active member of Treblemakers there. She has been
able to share her love of music teaching for the WSU Piano
Prepatory Program and also maintains a private piano studio of
her own. |
