EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE CHARGES FOR 2011-12

ADMISSIONS, STANDARDS AND STUDENT AFFAIRS

PPM 1-13, Article 5, Section 4.2: The Admissions, Standards and Student Affairs Committee shall be concerned with standards for admission, retention and graduation from the University and policies pertaining to student affairs

1. Examine and propose modifications to policies governing dual majors in accordance with the new BA/BS requirements. (Fall 2011)

2. Examine and propose modifications to policies governing second degrees consistent with the new BA/BS requirements. (Fall 2011)

3. Review the PPM for policies that may be out of date or obsolete. (Spring 2012)

4. Review PPM 4-21a, III, B in regards to equivalency of transferred courses. Recommend changes to 4-2.II.a.1 to add an exception to the first sentence. (Spring 2012)

5. Investigate and propose policy regarding transferability of remedial courses and applying remedial courses towards residency requirements. (Spring 2012)
