Zoology - Course changes for Cell Biology - Zool 3200, Genetics - Zool 3300, and
Molecular Genetics - Zool 4300

MOTION
Lloyd Burton: Moved to forward to the Facutly Senate curriculum proposals from Sociology and Anthropology Course deletions for Courtship and Marriage - Soc 1110, and American Social Institutions: Past, Present & Future - Soc 1030; and Zoology - Course changes for Cell Biology - Zool 3200, Genetics - Zool 3300, and Molecular Genetics - Zool 4300.
Second: Peggy Saunders
Outcome: The motion Passed unanimously.

UNIVERSITY COMMITTEE
PPM 8-16A states: “. . . The chair of the University Committee shall be recommended from that committee's members by the Executive Committee of the Faculty Senate. The Faculty Senate shall then approve or reject the recommendation. If rejected, the Faculty Senate may either select a different chair from among the University Committee's members or have the Executive Committee make a new recommendation.”

The Executive Committee will recommend Gene Bozniak to serve as chair of the University Ranking Tenure Evaluation Committee for 2007-08.

SBBFP
Kim Hyatt is serving on the Salary, Benefits, Budget and Fiscal Planning committee. She will be leaving the University in December. It was suggested that Dave Berry replace her as the representative from the Jerry and Vickie Moyes College of Education.

MOTION
Pat Shaw: Moved to replace Kim Hyatt with Dave Berry on the Salary, Benefits, Budget & Fiscal Planning Committee.
Second: Colleen Garside
Outcome: The motion passed unanimously.
