DEADLINE DATES FOR CURRICULUM SUBMISSIONS

2011-12

The submission deadline dates listed below are for curriculum that has been approved by
College Curriculum Committees, and signed by the department chair and the dean of the college. 
Departments are responsible for making 22 copies of the proposal(s) and delivering the copies and
the original proposal(s) to the Faculty Senate Office, MA 210J

Submissions need to be in the Faculty Senate Office by 12:00 noon on the deadline date.

For inclusion of course and program proposals in the 2012-13 University catalog items will need
to be passed by the Curriculum Committee at the November 30 meeting and then passed by the
Faculty Senate at the January 19 meeting.

Approved course changes which do not alter a program will become effective the following semester. 
This includes elective courses or those with non-substantive changes.

Once registration begins for a semester, no new courses will be added to the schedule.
 Spring 2012 registration begins November 7, 2011
 

New Program proposals (this may include the addition of a track or emphasis) require review at the
Board of  Regents level and cannot be included in the University catalog until they have been
cleared by the Board of Regents.
