Course description (exactly as it will appear in the catalog, including prerequisites):
Introduction to the fundamentals of drafting of architectural working drawings using hand and basic technical skills. Graphic symbols, lettering and procedures used in developing a set of residential plans, including architectural standards and building requirements are studied. Co-requistes: IDT 1010, 1020, 2990. Pre-requistes: None.

This course has
previously been offered by DET for both interior design and design engineering
technology majors. However, the DET curriculum no longer requires a drafting
course. The transfer of this course from DET to IDT not only provides more
opportunity for IDT to manage the content and vigor needed for IDT
accreditation, it gives DET faculty the option to concentrate on required
courses for the DET major.

This is the only beginning architectural drafting course offered at WSU.
