Participation Statement

A written statement in which you explain by concrete, specific examples how you have earned the following points:

10 =  have regularly attendance in class and regularly ready for class--have done the readings, participated in class discussions, been supportive of colleagues as they asked and answered questions. Were prepared for the "program of the day." (Excused absences are for medical or family emergencies.)

10 = have completed the assigned number of appointments with MacKay during the semester. Have used the topics, texts, and activities outside the classroom--conversations, news reports, related it to other classes, other activities, etc. Have turned in work on assigned dates. Are ready to take the senior seminar class.
