Reading: text by 20th century American Indian writer

From A Literary History of the American West (1998), an essay about Western American Indian Authors to 1960 and an essay about American Indian Fiction, 1960-1989.

Students will prepare a 1-page handout about the author for distribution to class members.

Students will present their reactions to the book orally.
