Lea Lake Overflow Wetlands

This project was to assess seasonal habitat use by Pecos pupfish (a species of conservation concern) within the Lea Lake Overflow Wetlands.  It was funded by the U.S. Geological Survey Science Support Partnership Program in collaboration with Dr. Colleen Caldwell of the New Mexico Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit at New Mexico State University and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.  Additional cooperators and allies include the Bureau of Land Management and New Mexico State Parks (Bottomless Lakes State Park).

Field research was conducted quarterly from September 2013 to June 2015.  Data analyses are underway.
