Welcome to the Spring
2003 Business Writing Workshop! In this workshop we'll examine the types
of business writing and formats you use; we'll then look more closely at
several business formats, such as letters, memos, and reports. You'll
produce a few of these to learn the do's and don'ts necessary to document
creation. In addition to writing documents, you'll practice basic
revision for improvement. If there's time and interest, we can try our
hand at writing and visually designing a flyer. In addition to practicing business formats and writing approaches, we'll briefly look at commonly confused words, and the absolute basics of sentence and paragraph formation. If you follow the Online Resources link below, you'll find resources on Weber's campus and elsewhere to go for formatting or writing help.
