14-WEEK SEMESTER CALENDAR
The 14-Week Semester Calendar survey arrived in faculty mailboxes today.

Concerns
• The survey did not address whether or not there would be a Spring Break.
• Summer Schedule - It affects clinicals in the College of Health Professions. Education has two four week blocks to accommodate teachers who are in the master’s program. If you expand summer to 14 weeks there is no May-mester. High School students who have just graduated are often attracted to the summer schedule.
• Will a 14 week semester increase enrollment?
