3.  CONSTITUTIONAL REVIEW, APPORTIONMENT, AND ORGANIZATION. – Tamas Szabo reporting.

The CRAO Committee counts the number of faculty in each college as of fall semester. They calculate what percent of the 466 total full-time faculty are from that college in determining the number of base seats for each college. There are thirty-five base seats. The remaining four seats go to the largest fractional percentages beyond their base seats.

Apportionment figures for 2004-05 show there are no changes in college representation this year compared with last year.

6.   CURRICULUM AND GENERAL EDUCATION – Rob Reynolds, Chair

College of Science - Zoology program change for the Zoology Major

The program change will add three options to fulfill the physiology requirement. Students currently have only Zoology 4060. The lone option has caused increased enrollment in Zoology 4060 and subsequent crowding of the laboratory component. The change will provide a wider breadth of subject content to students. A nonsubstantive name change for Neuroendocrinology changing to Endocrinology has been processed.

College of Applied Science & Technology - Computer Science course change for Object Oriented Analysis and Design - CS SI2750 changing to CS SI 3050

They have renumbered this course to articulate with similar courses at other institutions.

Motion: Moved to approve from Zoology the program change for the Zoology Major and the course change from Computer Science for Object Oriented Analysis and Design - CS SI 2750 changing to CS SI 3050..

Made: Lauren Fowler
Second: Marek Matyjasik
