Randy and Pam Chatelain
Bio:
Dr. Randy S. Chatelain,
Ph.D.
WEBER STATE UNIVERSITY:
Dr. Chatelain is an Associate Professor of Family Relations. He teaches
Family Studies courses in the Child and Family Studies Department, including: Marriage
as an Interpersonal Process,
Stress in the Family, Family Processes, and Family Life Education Methods.
Dr. Chatelain has twice been a finalist
for the Crystal Crest Master Teacher Award at Weber State
University.
EDUCATION:
Dr. Chatelain has a Doctorate Degree from
Brigham Young University
in Marriage and
Family Therapy. His Masters Degree is in Family
Life Education from Brigham Young University.
His undergraduate work was at Weber State University,
where he received a Bacelors Degree in Child Development
and Family Relations.
THERAPY:
Dr. Chatelain is a licensed Marriage and
Family Therapist.
He is a Clinical Member of the American Association
of Marriage and
Family Therapist. He has a private
therapy practice
in the Ogden area, focusing
on marriage,
family, and individual therapy. Dr. Chatelain
brings over twenty-five years of therapy experience
to his teaching.

COMMISSION ON MARRIAGE:
Dr.
Chatelain also serves on the Utah Commission on Marriage, trying
to strengthen couples and families throughout Utah. He has
served under four Governors.

SPEAKING:
Dr. Chatelain is an active public speaker
both in the
community and for professional
groups. He
averages 25 to 30 speaking engagements
a year.
PERSONAL LIFE:
Dr. Chatelain is happily married to Pam
Chatelain,
for almost 30 years. They have five children,
four are
married. He is a native of North
Ogden and
currently lives there in his dream home. He
loves the outdoors and is an
accomplished bird and nature photographer.
