Campus Portal Collaboration
Today we present some
thoughts from Steve Gilbert on the potentials
for campus portal projects create collaboration on campus. In fact it
may indeed be that successful campus portal projects require collaboration.
Many of you will know Steve as the person associated with the creation of
Teaching Learning Technology Roundtables; he manages the AAHESGIT Listserv,
which includes over 6,000 subscribers.
In this piece we present a series of questions for different constituencies
on campus. I believe Steve correctly frames the portal effort by
observing,
"The process begins by getting the right people to address the right
questions." Access to this material begins at

Today's material concludes a two-part sequence providing questions and
frameworks to create campus portal projects. Next you will receive a
midcourse assessment on this project, approach, and content. We'll then
resume these lessons with portal experiences from three AASCU
institutions.
Again, my thanks for your continued participation in this project.
