Math 4210 Homework Page
Homework Instructions and Notes
Attempt all assigned problems. I will grade them all. All problems will be worth five points. Unlike in lower level classes, I will not personally work the problems. Instead, you will explain to me how to do them. If you like, list up to four problems from the assignment that you would like me to work. Solutions to the top four vote earners will be provided, either typed up be me, or photocopies of good solutions from you.
It is strongly recommended that you do as many exercises from the text as you can.
All assignments are from our text unless otherwise stated.
At the time of writing (June 2008), I think that the homework for the first five chapters has been finalized. No further exercises from these chapters will be assigned, and I do not anticipate getting to chapter 6 in 4210. However,
we may have to adjust our schedule from time to time. Check back regularly during the semester.
