Position:  Associate Professor of Psychology

Institution:  Weber State University, Ogden, UT (2003 – Present)

Description:  Involved in research with circadian rhythms in cognitive processing, physiological predictors of performance, and physiological responses to stress.  Community-based research projects include program evaluation of the Weber Morgan Narcotics Strike Force Tip-A-Cop Program.  Classes taught include Introduction to Psychology, Statistics, Research Methods, Careers in Psychology, BioPsychology, Neuropsychopharmacology, Neuroscience, Sensation/Perception, Health Psychology, and Honors Issues in Mental Health.

 

Position:  Senior Consortium Research Fellow

Organization:  Department of Defense (2003 – 2005)

Description:  Research consultant for the Air Force Research Laboratories Human Effectiveness

Directorate, Warfighter Fatigue Countermeasures Branch at Brooks City Base in San Antonio, Texas.  Consulted with Air Force laboratories to conduct research studies designed to assess the effects of circadian desynchronization and fatigue on cognitive and physiological performance in pilots and air battle managers.
