Calendar of Assignments

Each week, starting on Monday, a new weekly Discussion Forum will begin, based on reading assignments for that unit. You are required to post three substantive responses during the week:

1. A 300 to 400 word response to the 1st discussion topic. This should be posted by Wednesday of that week.
2. A 200 to 300 word response to the 2nd topic--often based on assigned primary texts (documents or web sites). This should be posted by Friday of that week.
3. A 200 to 300 word response to one of the above posts of a classmate.
All postings are due by Saturday.

The Projects are due by the next Monday.

The three scholarly analysis papers are due at each 1/3 of semester.  Analyses of Scholarship. You will critique 3 pieces of scholarship in formal papers (2-3 pages), typed, free of gross spelling and grammatical errors. You may analyze the scholarship of 3 difference topics in U.S. history -1877, or you may analyze a single topic through 3 different scholars.
