The lab portion of class will be very short but we will learn techniques of taking avian measurements (culmen, wing, tail, tarsus etc).NotesWednesday, March 12, 2008 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. EcologyToday we will be introducing the concept of life history theory. We will then discuss breeding seasons and conclude with a discussion on the types and functions of territories. For our last lab, I thought it might be fun to go outside and learn how to use some important techniques for the study of avian ecology. Notes
