THIS TRIP IS FULL

 

 Get up to 7 WSU credits while studying and living for four weeks in one of the most beautiful ancient cities of the Iberian Peninsula. 

Did you know that Cáceres was declared a World Heritage City by UNESCO in 1986? This charming city is known for its blend of Roman, Islamic, Northern Gothic and Italian Renaissance styles, fruit of the many battles fought there throughout history.

 

Contents of the program:                                               

 * Two pre-departure orientation meetings.

 * Morning classes Monday thru Thursday.

 * Cultural afternoons.

 * Weekly trips to nearby towns (Plasencia, Trujillo, Mérida, Guadalupe, and Yuste).

 * Weekend activities.

Housing:

Accommodations will be in Residencia-Pensión Zurbarán in Cáceres.

 

Tentative program cost: only $1,900!!!

Program cost includes:

-WSU tuition and fees (up to 7 credits).

-Accommodations and meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner!) for FOUR WEEKS.

-Airport transfers and ground transportation for weekly trips.

-Scheduled program entrance fees to museums and historical sites.

-Participants will be covered by the university risk policy for injury. This policy does not cover participants for health. Therefore, it is recommended that participants carry health insurance.

 

Program cost does not include:

-Airfare.

-Overweight baggage charges.

-Passport fees.

-Incidentals (meals students may buy on their own, souvenirs, personal items, etc.).

-Unscheduled travel during weekends.

 

Group size:

Limited to 15-20 participants. Make your reservation no later than November 25th (day before Thanksgiving) with a $250 non-refundable deposit.

 

Fee payment schedule:

$250 non-refundable deposit at your earliest convenience to secure a spot in the program.

$1000 due on February 1, 2010 (this is a flexible date).

Balance due no later than April 1, 2010.
