EE 3890 - Engineering Internship | ||||||||||||||
In this course, the student will receive credit for approved industrial experience. Professional development activities include resume writing, developing and accomplishing goals, progress report writing, and a supervisor's evaluation. Expectations for Internship are as follows: 1. You need to fill out and turn in the student information survey to let us know where you are working along with contact information in case we need to contact you. You will need to sit down with your boss and determine 4 goals that you have for the semester. These goals need to be something that can realistically be accomplished during the 14 week semester. You will need to turn in your information survey, goal sheet, and a current resume that shows your current internship by the end of the second week of the semester. 2. You will need to turn in status reports twice during the semester to see how you are doing regarding your 4 goals. Do this by sending the instructor a student goal evaluation form estimating of how much has been accomplished to that point. These forms are due the 6th and 10th week of the semester. 3. At the end of the semester you will need to turn in 2 surveys regarding your internship experience. One for you to fill out and one for your supervisor to fill out. |
