WSU 2008 Holocaust Commemoration Competition

FIRST PRIZE $500 AWARD
SECOND PRIZE $250 AWARD

The WSU Holocaust Commemoration Committee sponsors an annual commemoration to remember the millions of innocent victims who lost their lives. To engage WSU students in learning about the Holocaust, this year’s commemoration will feature a student contest centered on the theme:

ART AS A MIRROR

Winners will be chosen based on the strength of their scholarly or creative research.

Entries must be submitted by March 17, 2008, and should explore the artist's role in reflecting, interpreting and/or documenting genocide.

Entries should properly cite sources and give proper attribution to the ideas of others.
