CLASS ANNOUNCEMENTS

Review session: Tuesday April 22, 12 noon, SS 333 unless it's occupied for exams, in which case SS 345. Bring questions!! Remember that the final exam will be from 1 to 2:50 PM Thursday April 24, in SS 333.

Years of Living Dangerously: James Cameron's new series on global warming, episode 1 available here.

Extra credit opportunities: Get 2% extra credit for attending (and signing in!) at either/both of two events:

  • Friday March 21, 12:30 to 1:30 PM, Wildcat Theatre, Mormonism and the Environment.
  • Monday March 24, 12:30 PM to..., also in Wildcat Theatre, The Air We Breathe, a film screening and discussion with the film-maker Issac Goeckeritz, WSU alum and geography major.

Term paper #2 available from the handouts page. Due date is Thursday March 20th. Remember, you must work with one of the three Writing Center tutors we have for this class-- Brandi, Matthew or Mac. Schedule available here.

Review session Tuesday February 25th, 1:15 PM, SS 333: Bring questions! The mid-term exam will be happening in class the following Thursday.

Informal field trip: Hike up Waterfall Canyon Friday February 21st. Meet at the 29th Street trailhead at 3:00 PM (or a little earlier). Bring good boots/shoes, as it may very well be slippery underfoot.
