Discussion
1. 2010 instruction evaluation and FYE instruction evaluation and update - 2010 evaluations for Spring 2001 are overwhelmingly positive. There were 257 responses. Fran has placed them in a box at reference for the next week or two, take a look if you have time.
There will be a subcommittee meeting to work on revising the FYE instruction session on Monday Feb 12 at 2:00 PM in Carol's office, anyone interested in this is welcome to attend.
Carol would like team input on how our curriculum can meet the ACRL standards and outcomes. She passed out copies to each team member. Team members will review and code accordingly and return to Carol next week (2/16). THANKS! This will be very helpful for future instruction planning and assessment. Girl Scout cookies are forthcoming!
3. Latest draft 2001/2002 Teaching Schedule - Please review one last time to make sure your schedule is correct.
4. History requirement update - Carol contacted the History department and has asked them to think about and let us know how we can best meet the needs of their majors. Kathy P. and Carol discussed several options which she shared with Lee Sather. He shared these and met with some history faculty to discuss this earlier this week. As soon as he responds to Carol she will share his comments with Kathy, Joan and the team. (Lee emailed this morning and they did not have time to meet this week, but will meet next week)
5. Other items as may arise
- Please continue to provide feedback on the Navigator. Send suggestions to Carol via email and she will relay to editing team.
-The new subject research guides are a hit with faculty and students and are a much more consistent presence. Overall guides plan will be discussed at a future ref team meeting.
