assessed
Common measures may include: pre/post tests,
assignments, test questions, interviews, focus groups, questionnaires,
surveys, observation of performance, capstone courses, portfolios.
- Determine what, if anything is already being assessed
- Investigate new measures, not already in use

- Create rubrics
- Do we expect incoming students to arrive with any
skills?
- Are there externally defined criteria?
- What do peer institutions do?
5. Carry out assessment activities, tally and analyze
results
6. Use Results to improve the program
- Use results to fine tune and improve the assessment
process
- Share results in FAR's and annual reports
