I feel this library instruction is difficult to use, because I can't understand English very well. But if I can get it how to use it, it become very useful for me.

I know how to search and use the reference help on the library internet. I can feel comfortable about using the library web and its resources.

Well this module would have been much more effective had the internet been up and running!

Need to go into a little more detail about the procedures and let the students run through the activities to get a feel for the resources that are avaliable.

I already know how to work a Comp. I don't need to be taught like I'm a child, But I know others do so she should do a quik explanation let people go and help those who then need it.

I think it is a great idea to get FYE students informed on what the library has to offer. Maybe you could give a little tour of the library or something, so they become more familiar with it an know where to find the resources they need. When the site is up and running, it is very helpful.

I thought it was good that a worksheet was passed out so we could see if we really did understand what to do. Perhaps you could go into a little more depth on what services are available at the library and how to axcess the great variety of programs on the computer.

This was very useful. I had no idea there was so much available. I am greatful that it is so easy to use also.

The WSU library is a great library. I have always felt comfertable comming to this place. The people have always been kind and helpful to me. Thankyou and keep up the good work.

I felt it was a little fast with not enough explanation. It is a good exercise, however, I think it needs a little more explanation on how to apply the services, and more time explaining how to use. Over all I appreciate the exercise.

This is a good thing to have around because it gets you familar with the things that are on campus that most people don't let you know about.

I did not know that I could acess so much of the Library from my home computer. I also like the fact that we were given the eresever lst option to encourage our proffecers to use the libary to thier fullest advantage .

What is the literacy competency requirement? Our inctrusctor did not even touch base at all on it and the wording in the web page is quite wordy and less then helpful. I would have hte library instructor speak more about it, if it that is important.

I am amazed and at ease that there is so much available to me. The online services are really helpful to notrads with children at home. Thanks!

The library instructor kind of went a little too fast. She should have taken more time to explain things in detail. For example, the Literacy Competency requirement. All she did was tell us to pick up a paper if we wanted. I know the academic advisors are supposed to inform us about all of that, but if the library instructor brang up the subject, she should have explained a little more about it. However for the total overall effect, I did feel this to be extremely helpful, I would just suggest going slower. It doesn't matter if the students get the worksheet done in class. That's what college is about-homework.

I was sick the day our class took the tour, so I wasn't able to go through all the services, but when I approach the Circulation and Reference desks they are always very friendly and go out of their way to help me find what I need or teaching me how to find the information I need. Especially F and N. This exercise help us getting to know and learning how to use the different sources and information available to us. "

WOW!! This computers are fast and so is the internet!!! Boy I'll tell you what, I go home and it takes forever for a page to load. You know what I do while I'm waiting for a page to load? I have some ice cream and read a book and sometimes I'll even take a shower. But here, these computers are fast, I wish mine were fast. THANKS

I believe you should have went into how to make a proxy from your home computer for various home uses.

Before this little "get to know the library" deal I was planning on doing my best to avoid the library. I didn't now how the place worked and it was scary. Now I think I will use it. Thanks for everything.

Knowing how to find articles will be really helpful in research papers. The only thing I had trouble with was my barcode but I called the front desk and everything was cleared up. All in all I thought this exercise was useful.

I feel as a student at WSU,that this exercise was really effective for my first year here. It should help me out in the long run. Well, i hope it does.

It was hard to find certain points of the exercise because they were located within files and searching took a lot of time. An example of this was trying to find where to order another book from another library. It wasn't stated that it is the interlibrary loan. Maybe for further reference this could be stated. Overall though this exercise has given me an abundance of knowledge not only about the library but the services on-line."

I have never had usage of a computer until starting school this year. I am fascinated by the power and efficiency. My fear is that I don't have enough time to learn it. I am planning on taking a computer learning class next semester. We just bought a computer last weekend, however, my husband "set it up" and it is not working right now. I cannot connect with the internet or send e-mail. Somebody is coming to help us with that problem. I apologize for my lateness in e-mailing to you, I feel totally inept with the process. It will improve if I can get my husband to stop ""fixing"" our computer. Thank you for setting up this class. I see a light at the end of the tunnel I just hope it is not a train.
