The UALC Professional Development Committee
Presents:
A session to help libraries with project planning...
Right
People - Right Projects - Right Time
Ernest J. Nielsen (Ernie)
Friday March 7
from 1:30 to 3:00 PM
Eccles Health
Sciences Library History of Medicine Room
There seems to always be more work to do than
there are people to do it!
How, then, does an organization assure that the work that is chosen to
be accomplished is based on the organizational goals? And what happens
when there is a change in leadership in the organization? Or a change
in the strategic goals of the organization? This presentation offers up
a practical approach to tying the work of your organization to its
strategic intent. The effect of the culture of the organization is
taken into consideration and placed in its appropriate perspective. All
of this - known as the Theory of Conscious Alignment - is presented in
the format of best practices as experienced and refined by such
organizations as American Airlines, Brigham Young University, John
Deere, Options Clearing Commerce IT Department, BIM Global Services, and
many other commercial and service organizations worldwide.
This presentation will be given by:
